Flying with the Eagles T-Shirts from Hawk Lace

Hawk Lace has partnered with FESA to create their first-ever T-shirt, featuring a design inspired by their “Flying with the Eagles” pendant collection. This memorial collection symbolizes our loved ones and ancestors who have passed on and are now “flying with the eagles.” Sade, the owner of Hawk Lace, explains, “In our culture, the eagle flies the highest, so we believe the eagle is closest to the creator and is the messenger for the creator. Therefore, in my view, our loved ones must be flying with the eagles now.”

Hawk Lace is donating all proceeds from the sale of these T-shirts in memory of Trevor Freeman and Ted Norris, esteemed FESA colleagues who sadly passed away this year.

The T-shirts are 70% sold out and will be available until the end of the month. Get yours now at https://hawklace.com/collections/flying-with-the-eagles-t-shirt/products/flying-with-the-eagles-tshirt.

Land Acknowledgement

FESA acknowledges that the land upon which we work and call home is on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations (Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney), the Otipemisiwak Métis Government (Districts 4, 5, and 6), and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.

We are grateful to work on the territory that situates Calgary, which is known as Mohkinstsis by the Blackfoot, Guts’ists’i by Tsuut’ina, and Wîchîspa by the Îyâxe Nakoda, as we endeavor to build a more literate and learning society allowing all to reach their potential.
